I stumbled across this fun art form when I was trying to come up with a lesson plan for the elements of design for my grade 8 class. It started off as more of a doodle, but I soon realized that the work was indeed worthy of my web site! These line studies are fun to do but also translate into finding great form and intricacies of a subject.
ps. the kids really enjoyed this lesson and you will find some of their images in my student artwork gallery.
If you like these pieces, you can purchase prints through Fine Art America, in my line study gallery.
