The students created a sculpture in modelling clay with theme based on organic line design. A mold was made from the sculpture and paper pulp made from recycled paper was pressed into the mold. After it was dry, the students painted the sculpture white and mounted thier work on to a black back board cut from discarded matt board donated by a local framing shop. Individually, the pieces are wonderful expressions of line made in an environmentally sound manner. Collectively, the pieces work in unison to create a dynamic art installation that constantly changes with the light giving movement to the whole display.
