24" x 18" acrylic on board
Beaver Lake is one of my favourite places to kayak. As the sun crept lower in the sky, the west shore of the lake created a rich and artful play of shadow on the the east shore. What a wonderful sight. this was the reward for traversing a beaver dam, ducking horse flies an keeping our distance from the loons and beavers!
