Gatineau in Spring16" x 20" acrylic This painting is from a wonderful walk in the Gatineau Hills. It was early spring and the maple bush was almost neon from it's green/yellow infant leaves. The trilliums were in bloom and the sounds of song birds filled the air. I wanted to go deep into the forest to take in all the colours and sounds, but poison ivy made sure the forest remained untouched by my sandal clad feet! ![]() Click on the image to enlarge
